Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Soluciones Globales ("we," "our," or "us"). By requesting a quote, placing an order, or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide translation, certified translation, interpretation, and bilingual business support services in English and Spanish, along with related design, marketing, and website services. Scope, pricing, and deliverables for each project are confirmed in writing (typically by email) before work begins.

2. Turnaround Times

Standard turnaround for most documents is 24 to 72 hours, depending on workload, document length, complexity, and translator availability. Larger or specialized projects may require additional time. Any rush schedule must be agreed in writing and may be subject to a rush fee.

3. Payment

Payment is required before work begins. We accept credit and debit cards, Stripe, PayPal, and Zelle. Work is scheduled only after payment has been received and confirmed.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

• Cancellations requested before work has started may be refunded in full, minus any transaction fees.
• Once work has started, refunds are limited or unavailable. The portion of work already completed is non-refundable.
• Completed and delivered translations are non-refundable.

5. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy, legibility, and completeness of the documents and information you provide. We translate what is submitted; we do not verify the authenticity of source documents. Names, dates, and reference numbers are transcribed as they appear on the source document. If a correction is required due to client error after delivery, a small revision fee may apply.

6. Certified Translations

Our certified translations include a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy and follow standard certified translation practices accepted by many institutions in the United States. Acceptance ultimately depends on the receiving institution.

7. ATA Certification Disclaimer

We provide certified translations. We are not automatically an ATA-certified translator for every language pair or document type. If your document specifically requires translation by an ATA-certified translator, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm availability. Orders placed without this confirmation are treated as standard certified translations.

8. No Legal Advice

Soluciones Globales provides language and business support services. We do not provide legal, immigration, medical, tax, or financial advice, and our translations are not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional.

9. No Guarantee of Government or Institutional Acceptance

We cannot guarantee that a certified translation will be accepted by a specific government agency, court, university, employer, or other institution beyond what is expected under standard certified translation practices. Acceptance criteria are set by the receiving institution and can change without notice.

10. Confidentiality

We treat all client documents as confidential and share them only with the translators and staff assigned to your project. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

11. Delivery

Completed files are delivered electronically, typically as PDF, to the email address you provide. It is your responsibility to review the delivered files promptly and report any issues within a reasonable time.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of a project is limited to the amount paid by you for that project. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of opportunity or rejection of a document by a third party.

13. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your source documents. Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive right to use the translated deliverables for their intended purpose.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version applies to new orders placed after the posted effective date.
